Senior Aerospace Engineer
Job details
Full job description
Join Kepler Research as our next Senior Aerospace Engineer in Round Rock.
About Kepler Research
Kepler Research is a family-owned technology and energy engineering business based in Round Rock. Founded in 2020, we run 1 location in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and employ a tight team that values doing the work well over scale.
About the role
You'll lead engineering work on aerospace structures and systems: performing stress, loads, or systems analyses, defining design solutions with CAD and simulation tools, and preparing the substantiation reports that support certification. You'll review drawings and analyses from junior engineers, coordinate with manufacturing on producibility, interface with Transport Canada or delegated authorities on compliance questions, and investigate in-service issues through to root cause and corrective action.
What you will bring
You have deep experience in aerospace design or analysis and know the certification landscape well enough to plan work around it. You're rigorous with margins and documentation, credible in design reviews, and a steady mentor to less experienced engineers.
Apply today and we will be in touch. Eligibility for US work authorisation is required at offer stage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline
- 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience, including certification or airworthiness work

- Eligibility to work in Canada
Benefits
- 401(k) match with strong vesting schedule
- Tuition reimbursement for advanced engineering or MBA programs
- Patent incentive program for inventors
- Annual conference attendance paid (AIAA, SAE, etc.)
